We had a lovely dinner in this cute little place! Food 10/10!!! We enjoyed alllll homemade pastas and didn't even hesitate when it came to ordering dessert. Service 12/10! So attentive, personable and loved that when we asked for suggestions we were given great recommendations. Additionally I loved the wine selections and they had great coffee! Definitely one of our favorites on our trip.

Best Italian food we've ever had! The meatballs and shrimp are cooked to perfection and the chef was kind enough to make a dairy free option for our daughter. 10/10. Highly recommend! Quaint space yet not too crowded, great for our family of 5.

Celebrated World.Pasta Day and a pre marsthon carb load dinner here and could not have been more pleased Ate in the downstairs dining room which is a bit cramped but the employees do a great job at MA uevrring amongst the patrons. The menu is standard comfort food with substantial portions that hit the spot. You stsrt with fresh hot bread with rosemary but I so highly recommend the Bruschetta I ordered the seafood pasta and loved the red sauce it was served with. Mark got the calzone and I did not grt a chance to try it because he inhaled it so I take it that he was pleased. We stayed in Crystal City so this spot was a short walk from our hotel which was great. Definitely a spot to check out if you are in the area and /or craving Italian

My friend and I stopped by La Bettola Italiano for dinner this past Monday because we were looking for a local/neighborhood restaurant that wasn't overpriced. Overall, the service was fine and the quantity of food given for the price is great. CHICKEN ANGELICA - 19.99 This comes with a few thin chicken breast and sliced mushrooms covered in white wine (?) cream sauce and some steamed vegetables. Additionally, it comes with some pasta (you can pick between fettuccine, linguini, angel hair, etc.) and marinara sauce. So lots of food for the price! The chicken breast was OK but went well with the cream sauce that gave it more flavor. I enjoyed the mushrooms too. I did mix it with the side pasta which was good! Overall, the food was crazy good or anything, but worth it for the price point. My friend got the BAKED MEATBALLS pasta that was quite good, too. Very homey food here. They also give you complementary bread and olive oil, so lots of food! I'd come back for the value. The restaurant is very casual and very little frills.

Came here for dinner with a friend and this place definitely exceeded my expectations! The reviews were great, but I'm a picky eater lmao. The atmosphere is very chill and casual. The servers were super nice and gave great recommendations! For the app we got the bruschetta and it didn't disappoint. The free bread is DELICIOUS. I ordered the chicken Alfredo with extra chicken because I didn't trust they'd give me a favorable pasta to protein portion I was WRONG. The portion was just fine. I didn't need the double chicken, but it was delicious nonetheless. My friend got the lobster ravioli and it was delicious as well. The pasta is made in-house and it's amazing. We also had the sangria which is delicious. 10/10 recommend this place!

We stumbled upon this place after intending to go somewhere entirely different for dinner. To start, the staff was incredibly friendly. We didn't have one single waiter, we had several who came by to bring things or ask how things were. We started with a bottle of Merlot and our waiter brought bread. The fresh baked bread was delicious as was the calamari (something we order everywhere we go). Our waiter brought a second sauce that he said was really good with the calamari (it was). After traveling all day and not really eating anything of substance all I wanted was pasta. The baked ziti absolutely hit every single spot. (Spoiler alert: I ate my leftovers cold the next day and they were just as good). My husband got a calzone that was delicious as well - but I preferred the pasta. Obviously we had to get dessert - and it was wonderful. This tiny little spot is a hidden gem. If you're in the area, check it out!
